Metal core pcb has been a very useful electric component that is most commonly used in the electrical devices. With the ever increasing uses of these components the manufacturers are also introducing better Copper core pcb or printed circuit boards to the market. Also known as Metal Printed Boards, they effectively help in the functioning of the major devices as they carry out the power supply to the devices.
As metal core pcb means the base material for pcb is metal, and nowadays the most common metal used are aluminum and copper. Aluminum PCB has good heat transer and dissipation ablility, but yet relatively cheaper. It is generally including single layer, double layer and multi layer.
On the other hand, copper has even better performance but relatively more expensive.Thereforce, majority of MCPCB are made of aluminum.
A growing number of power electronics products are taking advantage of an increasing trend in the printed circuit board industry such as heavy copper PCB.Most commercial PCB are manufactured for low-voltage or low power applications with copper traces.
